Impact, our catering company, have been creating wonderful meals for our students since April 2014. They provide innovative food – prepared daily from scratch, using quality fresh ingredients, locally sourced if possible.
They use tried and tested recipes, ensuring consistency and quality at all times. The menu cycle runs over a 4 week period throughout the term and is changed at the start of each term.
Pupils will see clearly identifiable posters explaining what to do if they have an allergy or intolerance. Innovate staff can advise pupils on what items they can purchase using the allergen matrix found at the service point. Innovate staff can also arrange for alternative options to be made available. To ensure the safe management of allergens and to reduce cross contamination risks Innovate teams are all trained in food safety which includes allergens management.
